Welcome the newest grads to Alumni Brotherhood!

It is with great honor that we announce the newest fraternity alums! We reached out to our newest grads and asked them what they gained from Phi Delta Theta, why they joined, and where they are headed after graduation. Join us in welcoming them to the alumni brotherhood!

“I joined Phi Delta Theta to make new friendships, and this was the fraternity that made me truly fit in for who I am. I will be graduating this year and will be going to grad school.” -Taehoon Kim

“I joined Phi Delts because of the strong brotherhood it represented. I have gained best friends and some of the best memories from being a member this house. I’ll be in Chicago working for Medline for the foreseeable future.” -Matthew Choi

“I didn’t plan on rushing when I first came, but a friend from high school was already a Phi here and told me to check it out. During rush I liked the guys I met and fell in love with the house during pledgeship. Everyone helped me figure out who I am, and we all push each other to be the best we can. I know the people I’ve met will be in my life for decades to come and I hope that’s the same for future brothers. After graduation, I’ll be working in biotech and working on my surfboard startup.” -Daniel Blacher

“I joined Phi Delt to gain lifelong friends that will always have my back. The friendships I’ve gained and the lessons I’ve learned throughout my 4 years have prepared me for the real world. Moving forward I hope to be working as a medical salesman.” -Cameron Nosal

“I joined to make some cool friends, I made some cool friends, in the future I will do other things but will keep in touch with said friends.” -Chase McCoy

“Good people, outgoing. Gained many relationships professionally and socially. [After graduation, I will be] working in Louisville, KY as a Project Engineer for Walsh Group.” -Braydon Singer

“Joined for the brotherhood. To spend more time with my friends and make new ones. I gained a lot of great friends and valuable life lessons. Future plans include to complete my graduate education then go into industry.” -Benjamin Holtmann

“Joined for the school oriented and party hard mentality. A great list of friends who I can always call on in my life. [My future plans are to] fight for this country in a desert somewhere.” -John Phelps

“Joined for brotherhood- made some of my closest friends at Purdue- future plans, keep moving in Quant & Bitcoin.” -Andrew Chen

“I joined Phi Delt because the people who I talked to during rush genuinely seemed interested in me, why I wanted to rush, and had similar interests/attitudes. I had a great time with the guys and loved a lot about the house. I gained so much that it is hard to explain in a few short sentences but brothers that I’ll have for life, memories that can’t be taken from me, and great leadership experiences are at the top of that list. I’ll be returning to Purdue 1 more year to finish my masters and then will hopefully start my career in the medical device industry.” -Michael Verduzco

“I joined Phi Delts because I was looking for lifelong friends and that’s what I’ve found. I plan on working in the aerospace industry.” -Ian Smith

“Been some of the best years of my life, truly feel like I’ve met some lifelong connections that will continue after graduation.” -Andy Butscher

“I joined Phi Delts because of all the amazing guys I was able to talk to while rushing. There seemed to be a connection between the brothers, and the fact that seniors cared to come back and help rush said a lot about the house and the culture. Being a Phi has helped me in innumerable ways, from breaking me out of my shell, making so many friends, and pushing me to excel in the classroom. I am truly grateful for the opportunity and can’t wait for what the future hold for this house. As for my future, I have accepted a job in Texas with Bell Flight. I start mid-June as a propulsion engineer and can’t wait to get going.” -Michael Spivak
