Summer Projects at the Phi Lodge

The Summer projects at the Phi Lodge are starting to wrap up. While the House looks a little pitted out right now because of all the activity, it should be back together (more or less) by the Phi Open. This summer we renovated three more residential rooms and will do the last three of twenty residential rooms in the summer of 2022. That will wrap up all the room renovations with the generous donations of all of you as well as Russ Wurster (1957) and Bob Bowern (1961).

We also repaired and painted the exterior back of the House, including the portico and removal of a no longer used chimney that was leaking water (we had three). Tim Quigley repaired the Phi Delt Crest in the mail foyer (Tim will severely injure anyone walking on it). The second floor hallway and stairs got a major upgrade as you can see in the pictures. We did have some water damage to one of the renovated rooms from last year, but the repairs have begun and it should be completed by the opening of school. It’s been another busy summer at the Phi Lodge.
